Scotland, Day 12: The Ferry Back and One More Fringe Show

The last day of the whisky tour took us off Islay and back to Edinburgh. We spotted our Ardbeg tour guide on the ferry, then stopped for lunch at the Inveraray Inn again. We were back in Edinburgh by 5:00pm.
The last whiskies included the Bowmore House blend and a Loch Lomond 12-year-old. Loch Lomond was where we’d stopped on the way to Islay on the first day. The 12 had a fruity, berry nose and tasted of cereal. The finish was oddly harsh, though I might just have been dehydrated.
Dinner was at Element. I had bouillabaisse; Ksenia had steak and ale pie. We also had a Seven Crofts gin and tonic: nice and floral.
We squeezed in one more Fringe show, Girl Pop. Fun, with nine people in the audience.
