Scotland, Day 1: Edinburgh and Our First Panto

Scotland 2025
We landed in Edinburgh and took a cab to Hotel Indigo on Princes Street. Our first food stop was a waffle in the park by the hotel, followed by a visit to Wojtek’s statue in Princes Street Gardens.
Then straight into the Fringe. At Rock & Roll Magician, I got picked to help with a card trick involving a ripped corner. Three stars for that one.
Dinner was at Duck & Waffle, by the hotel. We had crispy pig ear, foie gras brûlée, and, naturally, duck and waffle. Ksenia had Thistly Cross cider, while I started my Scotch drinking with Tamdhu 15.
We finished the evening with Adult Panto. Our first panto! Also, it was improv. Three stars for that one too.
