Europe, Day 4: A Budapest Food Tour and Cherry Strudel
Our food tour covered salami and sausages—including deer, horse, and pig—plus pickles, goulash, cheese curds, wine, and lemonade with cardamom and ginger. The goulash was so tasty. The cheese was fried and served with sour cream; the wine tasting came with generous pours.
Dinner at Gettó Gulyás brought bone marrow, a mojito that was too hot, and rooster testicles. Then we went to Strudel House for cherry strudel.
