New Brunswick 2026, Day 10: Hopewell Rocks and Dickson Falls

comments edit

I woke to the smell of bacon. Home-cooked bacon and eggs started the day before Hopewell Rocks at low tide. The mud was fun and would swallow your foot, the water was brown from the silt, and the rock formations were amazing.

At Kelly’s Bake Shop in Alma, I had a sticky bun while Ksenia had cookies. We walked to Dickson Falls through the woods, over bridges and boardwalks; it was stunning. Driving through Fundy National Park unexpectedly cost $20. Dinner at The Caves Restaurant in St. Martins was counter-style seafood on the water, with a great view and good food: fish and chips for Ksenia, a lobster roll for me. Dessert was ice cream at Octopus.
