Paris and Provence, Day 5: A Cooking Tour
Today’s cooking tour began at the market and Château Henri Bonnaud. We tasted the dry white Terre Promise, a 2018 white Palette that had spent time in oak, a 2018 Palette rosé, and a 2016 red Palette. The red was really good; Ksenia would like it.
Then we cooked. Ksenia chopped orange potatoes, carrots, basil, beets, and parsley. We made a beet salad, charred red peppers, tapenade, and rocket salad, with soup as the main course.
Dinner at Café le Verdun was mussels. They were OK, but kind of dry.
