Germany 2016, Day 5: Cologne Cathedral
We reached Cologne and had lunch at Früh am Dom: stag medallions with juniper cream sauce, mushroom spaetzle, and salad. Then we toured Cologne Cathedral. Gerhard Richter’s stained-glass window looked like colors from the other windows randomly arranged into squares.
We changed money, wandered the shopping district, and dropped off our bags before walking across the bridge to see the love locks. Dinner at Gilden im Zims was pork knuckle and Himmel un Ääd.
